Hard times have beaten down the spirits of many these days. If it isn’t environmental devastation, it’s just plain old trouble in human relations. These are the effects of the background Saturn-Uranus opposition, which is still influencing all human affairs. It brings disruption of normal routine, radical alteration in viewpoint, breakdown of previous systems and arrangements, and revelation of hidden matters. From the top to the bottom, of late the hidden truth has come forward. Wherever greed, dishonesty, and irresponsibility have been trying to hide, the tide of the times has washed them up on shore for all to see. This is happening in the grand scale and in the small. No one is exempt. That’s why it’s been so rocky of late.
In these choppy waters, we all need a guide to navigation. There is a way to go around the major trouble spots and maintain perspective while doing so. This week, there will be some help in this regard. Let’s see how it unfolds.
First of all, the Moon is now in waxing phase, having completed her cycle this past weekend with the New Moon moment on last Saturday. Late last week we were dragging and exhausted as a result of the last stages of the lunar cycle, but this week, we perk back up and become interested in our surroundings. Last week was a time of inner work and withdrawal from the world. This week sees us reaching out again to new plans and possibilities.
Monday brings a pleasant social vibration that we could all certainly use. Look for friendship and romantic ties to come forward in our experience as Venus, newly in affectionate Leo, makes a good fortune trine to Uranus, itself newly in adventurous Aries. What can happen? Sparks? Yes, you bet. In fact, new connections are likely to be found whether in romance, art, or community affairs. The day is exceptionally nice for finding beauty and acceptance. Best hours are 1pm – 9pm EDT. That interval is useful for the making of any request or proposal. Ideas and suggestions shared at this time have a very good chance of being taken up and acted upon enthusiastically.
And now for a great surprise! Tuesday is similar! Right, that’s two days in a row! This could be the start of something great! But more seriously, here’s the scoop. Venus and Jupiter make a trine today as do Mars and Pluto. In simple terms, this means that everybody will be in a better mood than in a long while. There will be a nice feeling of kindness and community flowing around, as well as instances of excellent good financial fortunes. The entire day is excellent for all endeavors, from midnight as Tuesday begins until midnight as Tuesday ends, and even over into Wednesday. So, make that three straight days of good vibes and pleasing developments. Quite a bonanza compared to recent fare!
What’s it all about? It’s about restoring our hopes, beliefs, and enthusiasms. It’s about finding workable solutions for physical needs. Yes, that translates into the finding of employment for those who are on the search. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday offer wonderful events and the opening of doors.
Wednesday keeps up the happy feeling until late in the evening, when a bit of uncertainty creeps in. Next day this is cleared up early on Thursday morning, as the Moon trines Pluto rendering matters simple and clear.
By Friday and Saturday, the mood will shift slightly downward, but the memory and reality of better things will still be with us. The deal for the weekend is a square between the Sun and Saturn. This brings the slowing of physical pace, the need to attend to responsibilities, and temporary set-backs. Slow down and keep pace with this influence by avoiding rush and giving respect where respect is due. It’s Father’s Day on Sunday, a holiday observed by many throughout the U.S. and an appropriate time to give proper honor and ancestry and tradition. That’s what Saturn asks, and he is active this weekend by virtue of the square between him and Sol (a fancy archaic name for the Sun).
What’s really nice about the weekend is yet another interaction involving Sol. He will make a trine to imaginative and dreamy Neptune on Saturday afternoon and evening, bringing peace, relief from stress and worries, and an interlude of beauty. At the same time, Luna (a fancy archaic name for the Moon) will be refined Libra, helping all things to move toward the pleasant and the pleasing. So this is good. However, don’t fall asleep just yet. Sol squares wacky Uranus on Monday, so a rapid change of pace is just around the corner. More on that next week.
