To me, buildings represent our "selves" in our dreams. The building being under construction could inidcate major changes that you are undergoing in your own life. The figure of the mother int he dream could represent that part of yourself that is nurturing and "mothering". The child could represent your "inner child", You are not takingt he time to nurture your inner self, and you are angry (at yourself) because of this. I am wondering here if the contractor (the person in charge of building the house) does not represent your Higher Self. It may be that at this time you are having to make some major decisions, and have not had the time to allow your inner child to colme out and play. You feel disconnected from your Higher Self, and are not all that sure that your inner child is being taken care of. I find that dreams reflect our life experiences. Having experienced abandonment at some time in your life, this theme resurfaces when you are going through difficult times. I think that keeping a journal, and writing to your HIgher Self and your Inner Child might bring you sme insight. Wishing you well.
