The Piscean Age was about hope, faith and fear, and humanity was preoccupied with feeling cowed by a force larger than ourselves. The Piscean Age focused much energy and concern on the unknown, on the mysteries of faith and the fear of not knowing.
For Aquarius the knowledge is not superior or exclusionary knowledge. It's a sort of wisdom that draws people together, for Aquarians are, above all else, social animals. They crave interaction with large groups of people, thriving in humanitarian and social causes and in any situation where collective thought, innovation and cooperation are required.
They tend to be eccentric and disdainful of tradition and -- while they love magic and believe in the esoteric arts -- prefer to discover knowledge through scientific experimentation and exploration. Technology is like a hobby for Aquarians, who stockpile all the new gadgets on the market and are at ease in front of a computer or connected to a cell phone. Sure, they're trendy -- they need to be at the forefront, in the midst of the social action, up on the hottest fads -- but they also truly love other people and believe strongly in the independent spirit.
The characteristics of these souls are: sociable, open-minded, innovative, rejecting tradition, scientific and technologically driven. If we extract these qualities from the individual and apply them to the world, we can see what the Aquarian Age is all about. We will loosen the ties of tradition and forge ahead in a cooperative effort to improve human relations and also the relations between ourselves and our world. We will be respectful yet also playfully, intelligently rebellious. We will admire and encourage collective thought, and embrace differences rather than fear them.
What will emerge in the next decade , politically and economically , is that those countries that turn their attention and emphasis on the personal individual, on the true taking care of the environment and the natural resources –... Read More

Uranus rules Aquarius sudden change, breakthroughs and revolution.
The seventh planet from the Sun, has its spin axis almost in the plane of its orbit about the Sun. This produces unusual seasons and also causes unique magnetic and electric field structures. Uranus has a faint ring system and 27 moons. On humans Uranus rules the mind and nervous system. In the year 2000, the Age of Aquarius had begun. Although, fifty years before that time many new souls, came to show the new path.
The Age of Aquarius could mean the removal of country borders and the uniting of the brotherhood of mankind. The fact that Aquarius is a mental sign means better understanding of things including society, our lives, and the problems we all face.  Wealth and fame will not be valued as much as learning and achievement. Aquarius is also the sign of scientific knowledge and invention.
We have certainly seen a rash of that in the past 100 years. From the invention of the television to the airplane, from the invention of the telephone to the computer and Internet, we have seen more technological inventions in our lifetime than any other generation. We have the ability to carry all the music we own with us while being able to call anyone from anywhere with a cell phone.   Aquarius is ruled by Uranus, and Uranus was the mythological god of the skies, and is the planet of revolution and change.
The Age of Aquarius is not an age of faith and hope, but one of higher application of science and higher spirituality; anything you hold onto from the Piscean age will drag you down to lower emotional levels.  Many people will seek for transformation and that is what will lend itself to this age of mass movement.  This almost sounds like a paradoxical position for individual transformation.
However, the sign of Aquarius also has negative aspects to it. Indecision as well as selfish... Read More

Ruled by emotional waters, The Pisces  Era is saying goodbye. (1 A.D. to 2000 A.D.)
The Water Element represents: Religions
Feelings and Emotions "The Age of Monotheism, Spirituality, and the Fish" Each Age creates its own “mood”. Bringing to the foreground certain archetypes, beliefs, paradigms and stimulates certain chakras within the human energy field with their corresponding thoughts, emotions and behaviors.

The energies of an age are an immensely powerful force shaping our lives in countless ways; the psychology of the people of that age, the form of religion and spirituality, the structure of society, and the very fabric of civilization.
Among the manifestations of the Piscean Age was the rise of a global religion centering primarily on symbols of water: baptism, walking on water, changing water into wine, and so forth. Indeed, for the student of astrological symbolism, Christianity offers a mother lode of correspondence in connection with Pisces. For example, Christian scripture speaks extensively of fishermen, wine, helping the downtrodden and outcasts of society, and the washing of feet …  all traditional symbols of Pisces. One of the defining miracles of Christ's ministry was the feeding of the multitude with two fishes and five loaves of bread. More subtly, the eating of fish on Friday by Catholics is linked by some to the fact that Friday is governed by Venus, the planet that is exalted in Pisces. Women were not recognized “In the Name of the Father of the son and the Holy Ghost “ They forgot to give a place to the mother. That’s why there is still sense of inferiority or inwardness for many women.
Pisces is intensely concerned with matters of faith. The pilgrims came to the New World, looking for “freedom of religion”. The Piscean Age was an era of religious intolerance, when large populations were expected to show unquestioning allegiance to a monolithic belief system, as exhibited in... Read More

The polarity of Aquarius - Leo
This is the era of peace, of unity, of love. The polarity of Aquarius, Leo, floods us with its complementary characteristics. The celestial throne of the Sun, Leo, encourages, ennobles, enriches, and enlightens us for the growth of our hearts, the growth of our inner beings. Together with Aquarius, Leo promotes the integration of our creative soul with our unity with all humanity. We realize that we must first be something in and of ourselves to be something for others.

The generous Leo will bring food for the hungry, wherever they are in the planet. Not only for the ones that can afford it. This Golden Age is destined to synthesize all religious regimes and free the minds of ignorance and delusion forever. Once enlightened, each human being will begin his or her individual journey within, and strive to become the new race of super conscious humans awakening seekers of Truth and the Spirit, healing peoples of many tongues and nations in the process.
In this new millennium there will be no more falsehoods, but spiritual living and third-eye vision. The Human Family is truly entering the Age of mystic revelations and the mind's true liberation which is broadly known as spiritualism. Because of the principle of polarity, each Great Age emphasizes not only the sign normally associated with it, but also the sign opposite it.
The Piscean Age, for example, emphasized both Pisces and Virgo - a zodiacal axis that (as anyone with these signs amplified in their chart knows) can lean toward a more dutiful and pleasure-denying approach to life. Over the last two millennia, this gave rise to (among other things) a world religion championing the virtues of sacrifice, as embodied in the grim image of a man hanging on a cross. During this age, people commonly believed that there was something... Read More
