The Medium – Season 6, Episode 1 – Déjà vu All Over Again – air date 9-25-09. In this episode Allison is out of the hospital, recovering from both surgery and the stroke that she had just before she was taken into surgery. She has had no more dreams, and is afraid that this part of her life is over. Her husband Joe is no longer working, despite a concentrated search to do so.

Allison is back working with the DA, although she cannot use her right arm, and walks with a cane. She begins having dreams again, and is able to help solve a murder where the wife killed the husband, but has a very nice alibi – she was raped and stabbed (so she says) by the man who killed her husband.

By the end of the episode Allison is moving her right foot, and able to use her right hand again. Joe has been offered help finding a job by a headhunter – but it will take him out of his engineering world and into the “green world”.

The big news in this episode seemed to be the haircuts – both Allison and her oldest daughter now have short hair! About the writing – well, all I can say is I hope that it gets better as the season progresses!
