Adjustment to the new conditions spawned by last week’s developments will be the name of the game for this week. The lunar cycle moves into the waning phase while Mercury sextiles Neptune and squares both Jupiter and Uranus, making for a week in which the effects of past actions are the main concern and the need to adapt takes center stage. Then toward the weekend, the energies of a Mars-Jupiter square enter the picture and bring with it potentials for agitation. The main challenge this week is therefore staying centered and focused, especially during the weekend.

Monday
promises quiet goodness as the Gemini Moon interacts by trine to Saturn in Libra, making this day an opportune period for gathering information. Chaffing up with friendly folks can bring forth useful information and definite confirmation. An atmosphere of calm reigns for most of the day, providing an opportunity to work quietly or interact with others in serene and congenial manners. Around 3 pm EST is the best time this day to approach others for favors and understanding.

After that, watch out. The Moon moves to oppose the existing Mercury-Mars conjunction over night, making the period from Monday evening through early Tuesday morning one fraught with the potential for conflict, disruption, argument, disagreement, and general noise and agitation in the surrounding environment. Weather, too, may be dramatically unsettled over night, thus making for interruptions to sleep. As a result, unhappy campers are likely to pour onto the streets early Tuesday. Take heed and give wide berth. Moods improve by 1 pm EST when the Moon kindly takes a trine to relaxed and even spacey Neptune, but the action isn’t over, for then it squares Uranus just before 2:30 pm EST, stirring up the pot all over again. At last, a quieter tone settles around 5 pm EST when the Moon trines Venus.

Wednesday has its troubles as well. The Moon opposes Pluto and squares Saturn this day, bringing to the surface of our awareness the various lacks and constraints present in our lives. Heavy pressure in the form of financial concerns is likely to invade everything, with Mercury moving into square to Jupiter and setting the stage for large over-reactions. As a result Wednesday contains potential for terrific anxiety and mental tension. A tendency to fight and struggle against immovable odds comes into the picture, creating wasted effort. It’s better to take it easy.

Then the Mercury-Jupiter square becomes exact on Thursday, which is Thanksgiving in the USA. Both Mercury and Jupiter are travel oriented archetypes. The two of them interact this week by square, an arrangement which produces vigorous activity. Thanksgiving Day is traditionally one of the busiest days for travel in the US, and this one is certain to be the same, powered by the Mercury - Jupiter square.

Complications and crowding are inevitable. A good way to deal with this interval is to keep travel plans simple and minimal. Avoiding the herd would be best of all if absence of stress is desired.

Friday the 26th through early on Saturday the energies will be somewhat more settled. But agitation brews on the horizon, for red-hot Mars makes an exact square with excessive Jupiter on the morning of Monday the 29th, its energies thus strongly conditioning the weekend. On top of that, Mercury moves to square Uranus on Saturday the 27th. All in all, what this means is that from Saturday through Monday, there’s a pervasive, widespread impulse to do everything all at once. Taking in all that life has to offer will suddenly seem urgent. As a result, there will be a mass tendency to rush around and attempt too many things in a brief period. This situation is certain to make for irritable moods, short tempers, fits of road rage, and even of violent outbursts - not a good time to go to where crowds flock. If being in crowded and hectic conditions is inevitable, be sure to maintain composure and awareness. Others are likely to be off center due to the combined effects of haste and shopping insanity. In fact, unsafe conditions may arise around major shopping areas, so all should remain watchful for any sign of a stampede in formation. Parking areas in particular might be the location of altercations, so let there be calm in those places as well.

The truth about this week is that the potential for agitation and hurry starts as early as late Monday night and carries right through to the next Monday. In the USA, all this will be tied to the customary uproar caused by hurried travel and fast-paced social plans connected to Thanksgiving. In other parts of the world, the same effects will be felt as well, but in connection with other happenings. Whatever the location, the best strategy for this entire period is to scale back and follow a schedule organized around essential activities, leave others plenty of room to maneuver, and stay out of potentially dangerous situations.
