I was very lucky to have a mother who saw psychic ability as talent. As a young girl herself, she would visit psychics for readings with her girlfriends. My mother set the stage for me to explore psychic ability without fear. She gave me my first crystal ball. She purchased metaphysical books. Over the years, she gave me spiritual books, positive thinking books and natural healing books along with prayer books. When I went to work at my first psychic fair, she was happy and wanted to visit the fair. My mother was a spiritual woman and viewed my psychic ability as a talent.

She believed.

Over the years, I have visited with many psychically talented young people. When I was teaching classes for adults in the 1980’s and 1990’s, I often had a parent ask questions about their psychic child. Where can we go, who will help us? I always told the parents to take metaphysical classes first and be the home schoolteacher when it comes to teaching their child metaphysics. You are better off teaching your child from your own knowledge in this area at this time.

Children are sensitive and intuitive with or without permission from anyone. When a child learns to talk openly about his or her dreams of angels this child will progress quickly without fear of rejection. A psychic child might dream about a grandparent who has passed away. This child might see an aura from time to time and wonder what the colors mean. The psychic child will notice there is an angel watching over him or her, and will be happy to talk about it, if you are happy to listen and share.

A psychic child taught to be quiet and not talk about such nonsense is the child who will not share this world with you. The boy or girl, who has psychic talent, and not accepted by others, will soon learn to be silent and live alone in silence of his or her experiences. Self-esteem is low. Friends are few if any at all.

Who can tell these kids it is o.k. to be psychic?

Trade places with the psychic child for a moment and think of it this way – before you were born you managed to swim faster than the rest and you managed to grow from a seedling into a child. You knew with instinct when it was time to be born and when it was time to suck your thumb. You arrived on earth just fine, and on time with minimal help. Suddenly, you realized you should never use your natural instincts again. You were born into a family that tells you it is wrong to be intuitive. You learn psychic ability is bad but you are not sure why? You hear words of no to everything you want to do. Now you must learn to grow in fear of your instincts and yourself, and fear what others will say and think about you.

Maybe you will grow up quickly, find a new way through the maze of life, and someday meet someone else with similar talents. Perhaps these instincts once told to be quiet are now ready to awaken from a long childhood sleep and ready to meet you once again. Self-esteem will began to shine like the golden star you came from long ago as you feel your intuitive self-come to life.

We were all kids at one time and many of us had psychic experiences as children. Some of us could talk about these things with friends and family and some of us could not.

Psychic ability has come a long way but not far enough. We are moving forward in the most positive progressive time in psychic history. Talented psychic metaphysicians can connect with people all around the world. The psychics reach out offering intuitive education, people come and leave fear behind as they seek and find this is good.
