Choosing A Psychic Reader

There are many different types of psychic readers. Before you schedule a psychic reading, look at your reader's bio - what skills and abilities do they work with? Make sure that you are comfortable with the skills that are being used, and you will have a memorable reading!

But how do you know if you will hit it off? Seems hard to break the ice and get to know someone. What do you suggest for ways to help the client connect with the advisor - and vice versa. Or what if you don't know about the various specialties, or possibly don't have a preference? For me, I don't really know if an astrological reading vs. a psychic/clairvoyant reading vs. tarot vs. any other type of reading is right for me. I'm looking forward to learning more about the types of readings and what they offer.

Selecting an advisor seems like more art than science. Try one and see - I know they will credit your account if you don't like your reader.

That says a lot about this site and the quality of the readers. I am definitely sold.

I had readings with various readers on this site and they were all pretty awesome. I will do a few more readings and then I will stick to one or maybe two. Making this decision will be difficult for me.

DBF - I can understand the frustration of not knowing what tpe of reading you really want, or what you really need. I would start out by clicking on a reader's name, and reading their entire profile. This will tell you a great deal about them. Then I would read some of the articles that we offer here on the PsychciPower.com site - they will explain what each type of reading has to offer, and he process of the readng. The most important thing is to have your question, or questions, ready before you call. If you don't have a question, and just want to start out with a general reading, that is fine too. And if you do not feel that you connected with your reader - please let administration know.

I found that reading the bio page of the readers helped me to narrow my selection. For me, it wasn't so much about finding someone with a particular specialty, but instead someone that I could connect with. I had a career question and I tried three different readers. There was some overlap in the advice they gave me, but each had a different perspective. It was great because I came away with some new ideas about different avenues I had never even considered. It was exciting! In the end, the one I believe I will continue to call regularly was the one whose bio resonated with me the most. This is a great tool to see who is best for you!

I’ve had a few readings. I read quite a few profiles, then made my choice based on the profiles. To me the profile is what really sold the reader. I have to admit that as I read the profile and looked at the advisor’s picture, I felt as if the advisor was speaking directly to me, so that had some effect on my choice. I received several readings and although each reader had a different delivery they pretty much told me the same thing.

I need to have a reading done and there are quite a few advisors who specialize in the type of reading I am looking for, so I read the bios for each of these readers but I still cannot narrow it down to one advisor. Other than the bios, is there something else I should be looking at?

Follow your instinct! If you choose a reader and you don't "click" with that person, you can just hang up and try another reader. You don't have to stay on the phone one minute longer than you want.

Follow your instinct is great advice! When there is more than one reader bio that I am attracted to, and I cannot make up my mind, I go down the list of reader names, asking myself this question: "Is this reader right for me, at this time?" Then I listen to my intuition, and my bodies reaction. I have found that different readers are meant for me at different times. Dani

The VOICE can say a lot about the advisor. I definitely agree to following your instinct. Even when the advisor is not available, you can call and enter the extension number of the advisor you want to check out, and you can hear the voice. I always know if a psychic can naturally pick up on (or will focus on) what I wish him/her to pick up, when I hear the voice. Everybody is a little bit different. If you want to ask about a friend or any specific person in your life, it is important to choose a psychic that will be able to read $that$ specific person, and from my experience the voice is the key to determining that. When the advisor and the person you want to know about are very far apart, be prepared to be uncomfortable/dissatisfied.

I-delle, I totally agree with you. The voice is important coupled with the bio. I say go to the advisors page and read their biography. Not every reading style is for every person. The match has to be right and as Idelle says, the voice should speak to you. So listen to the person’s message as well, don’t speed through the steps, do your homework before you make your choice.

Phyll, thank you for your response! Yes, I also first go to the profiles on the web to see if something resonates with me, and then check up the voice to make sure. (In my case I have religious restrictions, so I need to be careful of the reader's methods.) Also I would like to add that the timing is important. No human being could be always 100% ready for every question, and the client is also not always in the right condition to ask the question. In my case, the minute I say hello I know if it's going to go smoothly or not, whether the reader is one of my favorites or a new encounter, and sometimes even before connecting I could tell. In 1998, even though the recording of the reader's voice was scientifically the same, I knew that it was the right moment to ask, and this one advisor who had forgotten my story gave me a totally different, accurate reading to my (unchanged) situation from the previous reading (where she was mislead by her presumptions)! Again, I think it's all in our instincts... It's interesting to try out, experiment, if you have enough time and money. I stayed away from professional psychic readings for a couple of years, but this past month I have spent thousands (and taking a break from work! lol). My conclusion is that as a client I shouldn't give too much information, as it clouds the essence of the truth, and things really work out amazingly if both the questioner and reader are neutral at the time of reading. I wish everybody success!!
