I was just on the John Edward Crossing Over website and came across a survey entitled, “Do you believe in life after death?” This is what the 467,10 responses had to say: 98.67% believe in life after death. Of those, 44.50% say this is in the form of energy. 97.45% think we reconnect with loved ones when we pass on. 85.83% say a belief in afterlife makes the process of dying easier. 96.32% believe in communication with those who have died. 70.39% have you experienced communication with the other side. Of those, 58.63% have experienced it in the form of a dream. 80.73% think there are things you can do to prepare you for dying. Of those, 41.84% say it is through prayer and meditation. 57.94% are NOT afraid of dying. While80.51% are you afraid of a loved one dying. 98.07% believe the soul lives on. 93.18% plan on communicating with someone when they pass. Of those, only 23.66% have made a pact regarding the message they will send. Very, very interesting!

How many of us attach the "lefe after death" scenario to a religious belief, and how many of us simply believe in life after death? And how do we see that life? My thoughts are that there is a life after death, and t hat we return to an energy state (i.e. no longer being held in a physical body).

Many people do make the "message pact" - that is, to communicate a specific message after their death. I believe that Houdini was one of these people.
