I recently had a dream which came true. First, I had a dream that my housekeeper at the time was pregnant. It was so clear that in the morning I woke and told my husband that the housekeeper was going to have a baby. (She had been trying for about two years.) Sure enough, about two months later I began to notice that she was looking a little fuller. At that point, I knew my dream was correct! However, it was another month or more before she actually told me she was pregnant -- enough already. I wanted to say to her that I have known she was pregnant for months! I am happy to report that she gave birth to a very healthy baby boy. :)

I also had a premonition that came true. My cousin had been with her boyfriend for many, many years. She is now in her thirties and had been with her boyfriend on and off since high school. I received a photo via email of both of them together. As soon as I opened it, it came to me like a flash -- they are going to be engaged at Christmas. I didn't say anything. Sure enough, my mom called me right after New Year's to tell me my cousin was engaged. I told her the whole story, but I'm not sure that she believed me! However, I know that I knew. :)

Delphine - What a cool premonition! It prepared you for the time that she was going to have to take off (or it may have prepared you for her leaving). It was a "meant to be" thing. :) Bonnie

How closely should one listen to these kind of premonition dreams? For example, what if you have a scary dream something bad is going to happen to you or a loved one - do you definitely act on it to prevent it? Or try to figure out the deeper meaning, perhaps it really had more to do with the dreamer than the person/object of the dream?

That's a good question -- I wonder that all the time myself. I guess that's why places like this are great to come. You can get others' opinions which may help shed light on the dream. Another thing that helps me is to go back and try to focus on how I was feeling in the dream. It's not necessarily about the subject.

Dreams of premonition have happened to me - and sometimes they came true, other times not. It seems to come true when the dreams are diretly connected with me, and not so much so when they are not. Before I take an action, or say anything, I ask my Higher Self what I need to know. I ask if I should take any action at all, and then listen to how my body responds to that question. I have sometimes asked for another dream, so that I completely understnad the firstdream before respondng to it. Dani

Cusper - You mentioned dreams that had a scary sense to them. This is one reason that I keep a dream journal. I can track my dreams, and get a sense of what I need to pay attention to, and what is just my Higher Self working out something in life for me. If you have the same dream, or the same type of dream, over and over, this is certainly something to pay attention to, in my book. Write down all the images that appeared in the dream, along with any colors or scents. Make a note as to what they remind you of. In this way you can tell if the dream is a "real" dream (i.e. the people, places and issues are what they are), or a symbolic dream, where the people, places and issues represent things other than how they appear in the dream. Once you have worked to nterpret your dream, you will get an idea ob what you need to do about it. Marcey

That’s the way it is, the majority of the time you will not remember, unless immediately after waking you try to remember as much detail as possible and write it in a journal. You will remember when the event takes place, almost as if you are suddenly awake from the dream. Or it may be that you remember but don’t understand the significance until the event happens and then it becomes clear. So with the dream that you had where your memories were in the future…you are being given a message that is not yet clear to you. You must look at the memories that are being awakened. Do they hold a special significance? Is there someone tied to those memories? Someone is trying to convey a message to you and it might not be clear until a part of that memory in that dream pops up. It might happen during a conversation with someone, it might be a sighting, it might be another dream.

I had a dream about 6 years ago that a very rich successful woman i used to work for was going to become a widow. her husband was also very rich, successful, classy man named peter. i babysat for their kids back in 1995. i lost touch with the family but thought about them a lot. in april 2007 one day in NYC I met three different men throughout the course of the day all named peter. I thought it was strange and wondered what the meaning of it was. Well last year did search on the kids name-just out of curiosity to see if i could find a picture of them on facebook, to see what they looked like. Well, I came across poor Peter's obituary. He passed away in april 2005. I believe that it was his spirit coming to me that day in 2007. I was deeply troubled and involved in a very negative relationship. I believe his spirit came to me to tell me to get away from it.

You guys are gonna love this one. A gorgeous man who I thought of all the time named Peter Steele passed away this April. I live by the beach and wrote in the sand right by the water RIP PETER STEELE. I drew a heart around it and danced around it a few times. I did this almost every day from the time he died into the summer months. One hot beach day back in July I was hanging by that spot and was so annoyed to find out that I didnt have my lighter and was going to have to all the way back home to get it. As i was just about to walk up the stairs I noticed a drunken young man singing the van halen song Beautiful Girls, singing the verse "she had her toes in the sand, had a drink in her hand wooah what a beautiful girl.." I'm a huge van halen fan and found this amusing so I went up to him and said "hey kid, you got a lighter?, I got some weed, you wanna smoke?' Now, mind you, I'm a 37 year old woman and this kid turned out to be 20, so he really wasn't the type of person I normally would have approached. We go back to that same spot where i would write RIP PETER STEELE. So i light him up and ask "so whats yer name?" He says Peter, and of course I say "wow, thaats my favorite name. So then I asked him what do you do, and he says "i'm a steel worker, i'm in the steel union. " WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK OF THAT?????????????
