I watched the premier episode of "Flash FOrward" last night - I only wanted to see what it was all about, but I think I might watch it again. Probably not often - too much gore. But what a thought - a global event where everyone is affected! I was a little shocked - I expected it to be a simple mind blank -a not remembering - I did not expect the car and plane crashes, the deaths in hospital surgeries etc. I thought it was interesting to note that the basis for this show was a book by Robert J. Sawyer, and that there had been another movie made ab out this in 1996. There is a fan site up (already!) that seems quite extensive - a forum, previews, episode guide etc. It can be seen here - http://flashforwardtv.com/ . What do all of you tink about something like this? I htink we have control over our own destiny, so I see a "flash forward" as a positive event. It will be interesting to see who the one person who stayed conscious during this event was. Perhaps part of an organization, or group of people that sent this event to planet earth?

Daniella - I loved this show! So much going on, with so many people, and at such a deep level! I haven't had the time to watch more than the first episode - I am going to have to see if they are available for viewing on the Internet. I too think we have control over our own future by the choices that we make. In this movie, peole were given a sneak peek at where they would all be at a specific date and time in the future. I see this as a "Were I do do nothikng, this is where I will be." type of scenario. The choices they make from the time of the event will be what chapes their lives.
