Pendulum power is one of the oldest ways of reading energy. It can be used by anyone, with excellent results. Through the use of a pendulum we can connect with our inner self, our higher wisdom. And just what is a pendulum? A pendulum can be any small weight that is attached to a string or a chain, so that it can swing freely.

Each time that we use our pendulums, we should spend a few minutes holding them in our hands, picturing a white light around them. They are a channel for information, and we want them to be as pure and protected as possible. (Note: Pendulums can also be smudged to clear them of negative energy.)

Hold the string/chain that the pendulum is on lightly between your thumb and first finger. The first thing that you want to do is ask the pendulum how it is going to indicate a yes answer, and how it is going to indicate a no answer. Some people choose to program this into their pendulums, but I prefer to allow my pendulum to make its own choice. I have always found that the direction towards me and away from me indicates a yes, and a side to side direction indicates no. If there is no yes or no answer, I have found that my pendulum will simply continue circling. Each person will have their own way of doing this. Some people may choose to use a piece of paper with Yes, No, and the four directions marked on it.

Once the directions have been established, ask the pendulum if it is willing to talk to you. If the answer is no, thank it and put it away. You can work with it another day. If it says yes, remember to phrase your questions so that they can be answered with a yes or a no, and make them very clear and precise. If your pendulum starts moving erratically at any point in time, ask it if it wishes to continue answering questions. It may simply not want to work any more in that session.

Respect your pendulum, and respect... Read More

Nadya “Octomom” Suleman – The Mom Who Just Can’t Stop

Birth Date: 7/11/1965
Birth Time: 9:59 pm
Birth Place: Fullerton, California

Monday, January 11, 2010

We don’t need professional psychics, Tarot consultants or astrologers to give us most of the hot truth about Nadya Suleman. We don’t need intuition to agree that Octomom is more than a little quirky, immature and self-involved or that on the mental/emotional plane she’s got a loose wing. And she’s back in the news again as I write, talking about having more babies.

First let’s review the facts.

All 14 children have the same sperm donor via in-vitro implantation; her eggs and his sperm created embryos in the laboratory. One was implanted for the first child, the rest frozen, then thawed out for babies 2 through 14. Purportedly the “friend” donor is actually an ex-boyfriend who’s not at all pleased about her doing all this behind his back. We can’t really blame him for laying low. He didn’t even know she had all those embryos frozen for future pregnancies.

You may remember that with the first six (6) kids all seven of them were all living with Octomom’s mother. Nadya had no job, but did get a disability settlement from a work-related accident, plus on-going government assistance for three of the older children who have special needs such as autism.

So, let’s take a look at her astrological birth chart and find out what’s really going on here. Jane Valez-Mitchell on her show Issues came closest to the astro-truth. Jane, a 14-years-sober recovering alcoholic, tends to be super-intuitive about addiction problems. One night on her show Jane blurted out, “Is this woman addicted to babies, or what?!!” She’s the only news reporter who got that close to the actual situation. No, Jane, she’s not addicted to babies – exactly. It’s way more complicated than... Read More

Life Balance – what the heck is “life balance? Quite literally, life balance is balancing all of the different parts of our life – home, family, career, community time, private time. They all need to be there for us to be happy, to feel successful, and to feel whole.

Finding balance is not about dividing our lives into little partitions, and allocating a certain amount of time to each partition. Sometimes the divisions between partitions blur, which is natural and normal. In the flow of life, what takes priority, what has most importance, will shift and change. We need to be aware of our priorities, and make sure that we are not short-changing ourselves anywhere.

How do we do this? We find that which we are passionate about, and honor it. We reflect it into all parts of our life – into home and family, work and play, private and community. We surround ourselves with our passions – we make them a part of our life. We make the time to have personal time – we schedule it, if necessary, just as we schedule work activities.

Three- day weekends are great ways to recharge ourselves. Allow time to follow personal pursuits, to play, to do personal study. Whatever our needs are, we must honor them. Visit the farmers market, cook the meal of your dreams, read a good book, go see a play, go hiking, visit a new city. Do what brings your heart joy!

Set your boundaries, and enforce them. If you don’t have the time, don’t take on that extra project at work. If you want to take a three-day weekend away from home, don’t agree to stay home and work on the house.

Know who you are, know your priorities, and reflect this into your life!

Blessings,

Bonnie

Friday January 15th, 2010 was a Capricorn New Moon (as well as a solar eclipse in Capricorn). The energy that Capricorn brings with it is that of a business-like attitude, boundaries, and authority. These will play out in our personal lives, as well as within our local communities, and on a national and international level. Relief efforts for Haiti, and the diminishing time to save those that are buried, comes to mind here.

This is a time when we turn to the practical nature of Capricorn. We will be addressing issues in our lives that have to do with the how and why of things. Capricorn is a worker bee, so this time will be spent working out the details of our lives.

With Mercury in its stationary phase (going from retrograde to direct), we will be reviewing old patterns and old issues, releasing them and making room for new patterns that serve us for the lives that we are currently leading. While in the process of determining the new pattern for your life, make sure that the structures that you put in place are meant to be there long term – not “band aids” until the right time comes around.

Release the past and move into the future. If you are unable to release the past, it will hold you prisoner and not allow you to move forward.

Our readers are here 24/7 to assist you in seeing your issues with greater clarity and defining the options open to you.

Affirmation for the Capricorn New Moon:

“I release the past with love, and move forward into the future boldly, making best use of my inner skills and abilities.”

On the new moon of January 15th we experience the first solar eclipse of 2010, The Capricorn Moon comes between the Capricorn Sun and earth, so that here on earth we experience a short moment of darkness. The nature of an eclipse is to bring change – a solar eclipse brings with it the energy of new beginnings. Significantly, on the January 15th Mercury comes out of its retrograde status and goes direct.

Use this lovely Capricorn energy (the worker bee of the zodiac) to set goals, make plans, and take on new challenges. Capricorn also references community, or collective life. Use the discipline and tenacity of Capricorn (and its ruler, Saturn) to move yourself forward.

This is a time when what we have refused to see, or refused to work on, will come at us full force. Capricorn is concerned with the social structures that hold us together. At this time, as a country, and as a world, we are facing, economic and health care crisis of epic proportions. How can we make a discernable change in our world? We do that by making small changes within ourselves, by making sure that our thoughts, decisions and actions are in alignment with our purpose, so that we are living an authentic life. Where we fit into society is a reflection of who we are inside, as individuals.

What are you addressing in your life? Are your thoughts, decisions and actions al in alignment with your purpose? Are you sure what your purpose is? Make the best of this solar eclipse! Our readers are available 24/7 to help you gain clarity and insight into your life.

This is the time of year to declutter your life (if you have not already done so in preparation for the new year). The scope of decluttering is wide – it includes people, issues, and things that are no longer serving you well. Until you get this clutter out of your life, you will not be moving forward at a discernable pace!

The peopling issue may be larger than you think. People who act as negative energy in our lives bring our energy down, and cause us to lose self-esteem. They are the little voices in our heads that tell us we are not pretty enough, not good enough, not smart enough. If you have one or more of these people n your life, you need to start taking responsibility for yourself. Set out your sacred boundaries – what you will accept, and what you will not accept, and communicate these to the other person (or people). Choose how you react to them – do not feed into their story. If they are unwilling to work on then you have the option of either limiting your contact with them, or taking them out of your life completely. Put yourself first, and take the action that is in y our best interest.

Sometimes releasing the “things” in our lives is one of the hardest decisions that we can make, and one of the hardest actions that we can take. Why is this? We have memories attached to the things in our life – they bring out an overwhelming emotional response in us. It is these same memories that can act as a very real deterrent to our moving forward. Or, we may be stuck in the rut of “I may be able to use this some day.” We need to look at why these memories are important to us, and then lovingly release them. We can keep them with us through pictures, through videos, through journaling – whatever method works best for us. But when we can release something, when we are ready to release it, we need to do that.

A few random thoughts on life to start out the new year:

  1. When you are talking to someone, have to courtesy to look them in the eye. You are respecting who they are, and staying present in the moment, which will encourage them to stay in the moment and respect you.
  2. Take another look at how you are addressing your work/career. Reconnect with what you want to accomplish. Recognize and care that your decisions and actions will be affecting others in many different ways.
  3. Be conscious of each moment, and what you are thinking/saying/doing in each moment. Thoughts, words and actions should remain in alignment, and support your life path and life purpose.
  4. Recognize that all the wisdom you need is already inside you, waiting to be put to use.
  5. Accept that some of your choices will not be the best ones for you, and learn from them so that you do not have to repeat them.
  6. Love and accept yourself, so that you have the wisdom to love and accept others.
  7. Know that each day is a fresh start – use it wisely.
  8. Recognizing what triggers stress for you as an individual is the first step in understanding the shadows activated by the stress.
  9. Recognize where you are in the cycle of life, and place your focus accordingly.
  10. Know that sometimes heartache opens up a door that shows true love on the other side.

So you’ve watched the news, and you’ve read the articles, and you’ve talked to those around you. And you’ve looked at your own situation. Perhaps you’ve concluded that we are in a state of economic malfunction. Why not make some positive choices for this new year? Choose not to believe or accept financial difficulties as your Truth. Choose not to worry as worrying is pointless, adding only to your suffering and it changes nothing. Choose instead to mediate on the situation at hand, or contemplate it, and view it as a lesson from which positive things can come forth. Project positive energy to that which troubles you and surround that person, place, or thing that may be causing some disturbance with a blue light for healing, and see it in perfect and Divine Order. Think of the obstacles you have already overcome and know that this, too, shall pass. For have we not been told that “out of the darkness comes a marvelous light”? Let all your negative thoughts fall into the ocean and dissolve. Think only of that which is good and positive. Know that what you want the most (the good) is that which is trying its hardest to get to you. Keep in mind that thoughts are things so as Not to manifest any negativity into your reality. Only project positive energy and make those positive thoughts a reality instead. Let go and open up to the good that is to come. Let go and let God.

The Tarot card for 2010 is the Empress. The Empress is all about home and family, fertility in all forms, as well as our creative nature. There is a sense of joy and prosperity, and nurturing everyone and everything that is around her. The Empress is closely connected to her emotions, and to her intuitive self. She embodies the universal archetype of the Mother, and the ultimate Feminine.

In the year of the Empress we have the opportunity to “grow” our ideas, to birth them into physical manifestation. Once they are manifested, we then nurture them and watch them grow.

What seeds are you wanting to plant? What ideas are you wanting to bring into physical manifestation? What steps are you taking to make this happen?

Know that in the coming year you will have both the confidence and the determination to present your ideas to the world, and build them into the goals that you wish to achieve. Done with love, care, and attention, what you build this year will be of a lasting nature.

Happy New Year, everyone! This is the first day of the new year – are you ready to make this year rock? Do you know what you need to release, what you want to keep, and what you want to grow? It’s not too late to set your focus for the coming year.

One way to do this is to break your life down into specific areas, such as:

  1. Career
  2. Home
  3. Family
  4. Finances
  5. Personal
  6. Spiritual

Take the time to mentally review these areas, make note of what needs to be released, and what you want to set as goals for the coming year. Start with two or three primary goals for each section. Now go back and list at least one action step for each goal, along with how long you are giving yourself to accomplish it. Set your action steps for whatever you are releasing also.

Remember that we are here to help you define your path for 2010. There are readers on line 24/7, ready to assist you in any way.

Today is New Year’s Eve Day – tonight we celebrate New Year’s Eve, tomorrow is the first day of the New Year. Celebration is important – it marks an event in our minds, it creates a lasting memory that we can return to whenever we need to. This does not mean that tonight we all need to “party hardy” - it means that in some way we need to release the old year, and embrace the new one.

What do you need to release from your life? In what way are you going to release it? What new things do you want to bring into your life? In bringing in new things, are you creating more of the same, or are you growing yourself personally and spiritually? What is your passion, what is your path in life? Are your thoughts, decisions and actions in harmony with your path? Are you being an authentic person, living an authentic life?

On this New Year’s Eve, take the time to acknowledge the Old Year, pay your respects, and usher in the New Year with all of the intensity, hope and thankfulness that you can. Make your number one priority in the New Year that of being the authentic you!

Post by Bonnie at 12/31/2009 6:17:51 AM

Now is the time to be getting ready for the new year. One good way to do this is to start a journal. You can do a general journal, for daily events, or a journal that is specific to one area of your life, such as career, personal growth, or spirituality.

Anything can be used for journaling – loose papers, a wire bound notebook, or a more formal bound journal. Any type of pen or pencil can be used. Whatever you choose, you want this to represent you in the best possible manner. I would advise getting pens in at least two different colors – one for the original journaling, and a second one for notes that are added at a later date.

Journals can be annotated with personal drawings, photos. pictures that are taken from newspapers or magazines – whatever images most graphically represent what you are journaling. (Or you may not wish to include images at all – this is up to you.)

You can write a chatty journal, ask yourself questions, plot out future plans – your journal is a world of your own creation. You will find over the coming year that it will help you put things in perspective, and make better life decisions.

Happy journaling!

The New Year is almost here – complete with a Full Moon on New Year’s Eve (actually – a Blue Moon, the second Full Moon of the month), and a partial lunar eclipse. Are you ready for the New Year? I am not talking about reservations for New Year’s Eve, or whether you have a new outfit ready to go. Nor am I asking you to check the kitchen to make sure that you have enough munchies for the New Year’s Day games.

I am asking if you are ready to go into the New Year. Do you know what your life path is? Have you made sure that your goals are aligned with your life path? Do you review your goals at the end of each year to see what you have achieved, what you have not achieved, and understand why the goals that you have not achieved were not achieved? Have you identified that which you want to take into the New Year, and that which you wish to leave behind – for whatever reason?

To identify your life path, look at where your passions lie. In each success that you have had lies a seed of that passion. Identify the passion that runs through all of your successes, and you will have identified the direction of your life path.

Once you have identified your life path, all of your decisions and actions need to be aligned with that path. As you progress through life, you will fine tune your life path, In other words, how you express your life path in your life will change as the depth of your understanding about it changes.

Wishing each of you a New Year in which you see the manifestation of your deepest wishes and dreams! Happy New Year!

Blessings,

Bonnie

A partial lunar eclipse will be appearing on 2009 New Year’s Eve (during the time of the Capricorn Full Moon). This is the last of four lunar eclipses to occur during 2009. An eclipse occurs when a planet is in the earth’s shadow. In this case, only a slight portion of the moon will be in eclipse – but it will be enough to be visible. Note: The visibility will be limited to Alaska – the rest of the United States will not be able to see it. This is also a “Blue Moon” – the second full moon in the month of December.

The full moon is a time of letting go of whatever is not serving us well. The presence of the eclipse adds the energy of events happening that are life changing for us. And, since it is also New Year’s Eve, we are looking at what we want to release from the old year, what to carry over into the new year, and what new things we want to bring in.

Wishing each of you a very Happy, Successful New Year!

Today is the first day of the Mercury retrograde (in the sign of Capricorn). How appropriate that it is beginning the day after Christmas! Why appropriate? We are talking about communications issues here, and there will be a whole lot of merchandise returns and exchanges starting on this day!

Something to watch for in this retrograde is anything having to do with electronics. From my friend Dorrina Russel (@dorrinarussel on Twitter) we have the admonition to back up our computers posthaste! She also notes that we need to pay close attention to our cars at this time. (Travel comes under Mercury, and our cars are our number one mode of transportation.)

We need to be aware of signing contracts or beginning anything new at this time. We do not necessarily need to wait until Mercury goes direct (on January 15th), but we do need to pay close attention to the fine details, to make sure that we understand what the individuals that we are dealing with are saying, and that they understand what we are saying.

We also need to remember the focus that Capricorn brings to this Mercury retrograde – the two keywords here would be ambition and loyalty. Look for these two characteristics in yourself, and in the individuals that you are dealing with.

Remember – we are always in charge of our own lives – and this remains true during a retrograde.

Sometimes we come across something that we just know is “meant” for us – something that we know is gong to make a difference in our lives. This happened to me this holiday season – I came across a post on Twitter noting a sale that artist/author Lisa Hunt was having on her “Fantastical Creatures Tarot”. (Note: The deck was done in conjunction with DJ Conway.) The discount was not what was important – in fact, it really had nothing to do with my purchase of this deck. It was simply time for it to come into my life.

The deck is a traditionally structured Tarot of 78 cards, but it is a theme deck – in this case, using the background and imagery of myth and fantasy. Lisa is an incomparable artist when it comes to envisioning fantasy art – her work is what I would term "several levels deep”. Each time you look at it, you get something new from it.

The art is gentle, flowing, and evocative of that space between this world and “other worlds”. Mystical beings, and the stories and myths that accompany them, are the stuff that dreams are made of. For example, the Fool is the two headed serpent “Amphisnaena” from Greek legend. The Magician is the winged cat found in the legends of many cultures. He sits upright, with this front paws on his magickal wand. The Empress is the Celtic triple goddess Morrigan (who can appear as maiden, mother or crone). The Chariot consists of two winged Centaurs, flying through the night sky.

You can see this deck here: http://www.fantasticalcreatures.com/.

It is Christmas Eve, 2009. Where on earth has this year gone! It flew by, at warp speed, is what it did! Through full moons, new moons, Mercury retrogrades, a shaky economy that is still in recovery, jobs lost and jobs gained – 2009 brought us many lessons, some of them on the physical level, some of them on a spiritual level. (2009 was a Master year 11/2, which is where the spiritual emphasis came from.)

How do you feel about your year? We have one week left in this year – let us make best use of it. Take the time to review your year – Did you achieve what you wanted to? If not, what stood in the way? Are you happy? If not, why not? What is happiness to you? Do you realize that you are a co-creator of your own happiness (along with Universe)?

Are your decisions and actions n alignment with your beliefs? Are you waiting for the “perfect time” to live your perfect life? What from 2009 do you need to release? What do you want to replace it with?

I am not talking about New Year’s resolutions, the ones that get broken on January 2nd. I am talking about recognizing your own passions, and the strengths and abilities that you came into this lifetime with. Use those strengths and abilities to follow your own path, to be an authentic person.

The coming year carries the strength of achieving the goals that we set – of manifesting them in the physical world. Set your goals wisely, and be ready to handle the success that you will see!

I am currently reading “The Gospel According To Coco Chanel” (by Karen Karbo). For those who do not recognize the name, Coco Chanel was a larger than life French designer that changed the world of women in a very aggressive, positive manner. She is the lady that we can thank for the concept of the “little black dress” (Thank you, thank you Coco!), for the stunning boxed suit jackets of the Jackie Kennedy era, and for (amongst others) the wonderful Chanel #5 perfume that I have worn for over thirty years!

Karbo talks about Chanel’s accomplishments, but also about her sense of self (which is where her sense of style came from). She came from a very poor background (she was raised by nuns after her mother died, and her father could not care for her), yet she walked at a very early age through the world of the aristocracy.

We can all learn something from stories like Chanel’s. We all have our own life story – we want it to be as authentic and strong as it can be. Coco Chanel knew what her strengths were – and she played to them. She accepted what was “right” for her, ad allowed her light to shine.

What is right for you? What are your strengths? Who is the authentic you? Why are you not living the authentic you!

The holiday season is a very special time – a time for family, a time to honor both family and religious traditions, as well as a time to close out the old year in a conscious fashion, and set a good foundation for the coming year. This has been a very difficult year for many people, with the ever present economic crisis, slow job recovery, foreclosures still and issue, and lending not up to the level that it should be. How can we make the best of this holiday season? I put this question to the Tarot.

What do we know about this holiday season?

King of Pentacles: We need to take responsibility for how we choose to both address and celebrate this holiday season. Pay attention to people and issues, and make conscious decisions. There is a sense of being grounded and centered here – this holiday season is not based on the ethereal “credit card in my hand” mentality. Reality has set in.

What are we not aware of about this holiday season?

Temperance: Temperance carries with it the energy of healing. We are being assured that the world around us really is in healing mode (i.e. recovery mode). We need to bring a sense of balance to our physical/mental/emotional/spiritual lives. All worlds need to be honored and respected.

What do we need to know about this holiday season?

Ace of Pentacles: We are being offered the opportunity to ground and center our physical world. There is potential here to achieve success in the everyday, physical/material world beyond anything that we could have imagined. If we pay attention, and act on opportunities offered, we will be successful beyond measure, on all levels.

From me to you – enjoy this holiday season, find your peace, find your joy, and celebrate the wonderful person that you are!

On 12/21/09 we celebrated the Winter Solstice – the shortest day and longest night of the year, and a time of rebirth and renewal. Today I drew a card from the Tarot to set the theme for the 2009 Solstice. This is the energy that will be flowing in the background as we give thanks for the abundance around us, review the past year, decide what we need to release, and define what we want to achieve during the coming months. The card that was drawn was the card of Justice.

Justice is a very literal card – it means that balance needs to be brought to the situation, whatever is not just must be rectified. Libra (symbolized by the scales of justice) is the ruler for Justice. Libra brings in some very exacting energy – balance brought about through logic, through mental effort. Fine tuning is going to have to be done on all levels – mental, physical, emotional and spiritual.

Before we can begin to rebirth this Solstice we are going to have to make some hard decisions, and be willing to follow through with actions. What we are trying to achieve may not manifest in the form that we desired, but it will be fair to all concerned.

Five days to Christmas – feeling the stress? Whether it is financial, emotional, mental. physical, or spiritual – the holidays bring with them joy and hope, along with a huge dose of angst! The best thing that we can do for ourselves is to recognize what is acting as a trigger for our stress – and this will differ from individual to individual.

One of the biggest sources of stress is the people in our lives – and the expectations they put on us. This can come from spouses or significant others, or it can come from family members. We love our families, but sometimes they can be difficult to take when dealing with them over an extended period of time.

What is the best way to deal with relationship stress? Decide what you personally will put up with, and what you will not. These are your sacred boundaries. Be willing to protect those boundaries, and then share them with the other individuals involved. If they continue to act in a stressful manner, remind them of your boundaries. If they still keep it up – walk away. Take a small time out. It may be time for you to leave, or for them to leave (depending on where the conflict is taking place – your house is your house, their house is their house). Above all – leave the past in the past. Try to avoid putting people next to each other that are going to try and start world war three. Take common sense precautions, and try and set the tone for a peaceful time.

Finances – presents, food, travel – all of this puts incredible stress on us. We do have a great deal of leeway here – things that we can do to take control of the constant flow of money going out. Start with the buying of presents – set a limit that is agreed upon by everyone in the family. Stick to that limit! Choose items that will fit within your budget, and then look for them on sale.

When it comes to food, decide what you really need for your meals. Food is nourishment, it promotes... Read More

The Winter Solstice occurs on Monday, December 21st. This marks the time when the earth is tilted farthest away from the sun, and creates the shortest day (and longest night) in the year. From this point onward, the days will get longer, and the nights shorter.

In Pagan traditions, the Winter Solstice is a time of celebration, a time of the return of the Sun, and a time of renewal. Prior to celebrating the Solstice with ritual and feast, it is appropriate to stop for a moment, and take a look inward.

Mentally go over the previous year – at what went right, what went wrong, which goals were achieved, and which were not. Using this as a foundation, look into the coming year. What do you wish to carry with you, and what do you wish to release? What new things do you wish to achieve? What steps can you take to achieve them?

In the coming year, how can you nurture yourself? How can you make your life more authentic? How can you follow your passions?

Last – but not least – remember to give thanks for the abundance in your life. Even the obstacles and challenges that we face help us to grow and be better people. Give thanks for all that is helping you to be you!

The Mentalist Recap – Season 2, Episode 10 – Throwing Fire – air date 12/17/09.
In this episode, Jane and the CBI team investigate a baseball scout’s murder. In the process, Jane gets hit in the head with a wayward baseball. As a result, he begins getting flashbacks of his childhood, and his father. Needless to say, these are not especially positive flashbacks, as his father used him in schemes to make a living.

Tossed into the fray here are two star pitchers, their very aggressive fathers, an equally aggressive partner that the baseball scout left behind, the scouts angry ex-wife, and Jane himself, who refuses medical attention (much to Lisbon’s consternation and Cho’s frustration).

We get a great deal of insight into the world of baseball, and how in your mid-twenties you can be deemed “old”. There is also some interesting insight into ho Jane grew up, and what made him who he is today.

Every story has its own story!

The Piscean Age was about hope, faith and fear, and humanity was preoccupied with feeling cowed by a force larger than ourselves. The Piscean Age focused much energy and concern on the unknown, on the mysteries of faith and the fear of not knowing.
For Aquarius the knowledge is not superior or exclusionary knowledge. It's a sort of wisdom that draws people together, for Aquarians are, above all else, social animals. They crave interaction with large groups of people, thriving in humanitarian and social causes and in any situation where collective thought, innovation and cooperation are required.
They tend to be eccentric and disdainful of tradition and -- while they love magic and believe in the esoteric arts -- prefer to discover knowledge through scientific experimentation and exploration. Technology is like a hobby for Aquarians, who stockpile all the new gadgets on the market and are at ease in front of a computer or connected to a cell phone. Sure, they're trendy -- they need to be at the forefront, in the midst of the social action, up on the hottest fads -- but they also truly love other people and believe strongly in the independent spirit.
The characteristics of these souls are: sociable, open-minded, innovative, rejecting tradition, scientific and technologically driven. If we extract these qualities from the individual and apply them to the world, we can see what the Aquarian Age is all about. We will loosen the ties of tradition and forge ahead in a cooperative effort to improve human relations and also the relations between ourselves and our world. We will be respectful yet also playfully, intelligently rebellious. We will admire and encourage collective thought, and embrace differences rather than fear them.
What will emerge in the next decade , politically and economically , is that those countries that turn their attention and emphasis on the personal individual, on the true taking care of the environment and the natural resources –... Read More

Uranus rules Aquarius sudden change, breakthroughs and revolution.
The seventh planet from the Sun, has its spin axis almost in the plane of its orbit about the Sun. This produces unusual seasons and also causes unique magnetic and electric field structures. Uranus has a faint ring system and 27 moons. On humans Uranus rules the mind and nervous system. In the year 2000, the Age of Aquarius had begun. Although, fifty years before that time many new souls, came to show the new path.
The Age of Aquarius could mean the removal of country borders and the uniting of the brotherhood of mankind. The fact that Aquarius is a mental sign means better understanding of things including society, our lives, and the problems we all face.  Wealth and fame will not be valued as much as learning and achievement. Aquarius is also the sign of scientific knowledge and invention.
We have certainly seen a rash of that in the past 100 years. From the invention of the television to the airplane, from the invention of the telephone to the computer and Internet, we have seen more technological inventions in our lifetime than any other generation. We have the ability to carry all the music we own with us while being able to call anyone from anywhere with a cell phone.   Aquarius is ruled by Uranus, and Uranus was the mythological god of the skies, and is the planet of revolution and change.
The Age of Aquarius is not an age of faith and hope, but one of higher application of science and higher spirituality; anything you hold onto from the Piscean age will drag you down to lower emotional levels.  Many people will seek for transformation and that is what will lend itself to this age of mass movement.  This almost sounds like a paradoxical position for individual transformation.
However, the sign of Aquarius also has negative aspects to it. Indecision as well as selfish... Read More
