The only fool is the one that closes their heart,

It takes courage to love and wisdom and a belief that God is with you,

Because of our connection to God we have agreed to give others a chance to love, to love God and to love us:  it is only by our willingness to open our hearts and put ourselves at emotional risk can this occur.

Sometimes they fall short:  no matter how hard we try:

But God has not failed to see every effort or moment you put into loving "one of his flock,” and God has not let your pain go unheard by the divine's heart.

WORDS TO THE WISE for May

Get ready to get lucky!  May is going to be a month of chance meetings with synchronicity on the horizon.  This is the month to really be on the lookout for an unexpected connection.  You may over hear someone talking about a job that is opening while standing in line somewhere: take note; take action.  You may read an article that “triggers” a feeling of opportunity; follow up on it.  Call the magazine, talk to the person who wrote it; take action!

This month, “spirit” is sending gifts your way but they are in the form of opportunity.  You need to be ready to follow up.  You need to know that you deserve to have something change in your... Read More

January 4th we experienced the 1st solar eclipse of 2011.  With the conjuction of Jupiter and Uranus.  It left a very good transit for exciting new opportunities with love and money.  Jan. 18th becacame an important date with the Moon opposite a conjuction of Mercury and Pluto.  This created high energies and very intense Month for February with lots of Mars action.  Mars is the planet of war.  Aggression and sexuality.  It formed alot of adrenalin in most of us.  It seems Mars rules our adrenal glands.  Since Feb was most of our focus on Mars agression.  In March it quickly turned focusing on Uranus change "Freedom and Awareness".  Although by the end of March the Full Moon was opposite Uranus.  Which brought "tension, revolution, change".  Being this unexpected Uranus at the end of March.  It created "change and rebellion."  It continued for a majority of us through the middle of April with very energetic conjunction of Mars, Uranus, and rise Aries.  However the middle of April more into the 3rd week created very stong Saturn inflluence which toned down Uranus "of agression and rebellion of Mars".  Uranus to me is lighting "fast and exciting creation of disruption".  Saturn is more "slow and boring".  Ultimately" Creating Balance".May is going to be huge with the conjuction of Mercury. Venus and Jupiter on the day Mercury leaves the retrograde @ 24 degrees Aries. Which create greater understanding in "relations, balance, choice creating the end of the solar eclipse cycle which started in January.  Enjoy May although you need to start to focus on your New Journey of CHOICE. It will continue grow for WIN in your life meaning "WHATS IMPORTANT NOW".  With Jupiter in the near forcast for June it will create "hopeful transits associated with inspiration and clairvoyance."  Your Balance you choose to create in May will prepare you for... WORDS TO THE WISE

for March

Hang in there!  At some point winter will end.  But many of us are waiting for something that will never come and that is the “perfect time” to do something.  The right time to start that book,  the right time to talk to that person, start a diet, leave that relationship,  get off the couch and start exercising.  Do any of us really want to count the wasted moments and years of our lives, putting things off for the “right time,” like there is some outside force controlling us and we are just waiting for that force to provide us with this right time.  People: it doesn’t exist. ... These days, so many people are having hard times financially and just do not know where to turn for help. I am not a financial planner and cannot give you financial advice but I can share with you a few very simple things you can do on an energetic soul level that will improve your situation, and there is no limit to the good things you can attract to yourself. Think about your heart’s desire and go for it. I wish I could claim credit for the principles of prosperity and abundance I am going to share with you. I can tell you I have tried the principles over a period of about 12 years and all of these have worked miracles for me. And these will work for you, no matter where you are in your life right now. Also, you can use all of the techniques to manifest a happy romantic relationship, or both.

About 12 years ago, my world shattered on the day that I woke up and could not move. It took about an hour for me to get out of bed and then I had to hang on the walls for support. My life crumbled around me. There were days when I was in such physical pain that my hair actually hurt. And times that every muscle, every bone and every nerve was a center for unbearable pain. I had been a secondary school and college teacher and when I finally realized that I would never be able to do this work again, I had no idea who I was. Like many Americans, I identified with my profession to the extent that without it, I had no identity.

Before becoming ill, I had an income that met my needs and most of my desires. After this illness, there was a period of several years that I had no income at all. I knew how to give to other people but I did... Read More

This blog is a direct copy from my book  " YOU ARE WISER THAN YOU THINK".    This information will set the stage for becoming more informed on how to integrate your three selves successfully and easily.

For easy translation:  Spirit is also called the Higher Self,  Emotions are also known as the Smaller self and Intellect is also known as the Middle Self.

Higher Self or Spirit

The higher self is not motivated by our needs but by what is good for us as a whole being. The higher self knows the direction our life needs to take in order for us to accomplish what it is we came here to do.  The higher self is not clouded by emotions, and therefore, not mislead by the illusions that can confuse us and take us off our path. It is a powerful teacher and the most direct way to deliver information that will truly make guidance effective.

It can take information and gradually release it into the person’s awareness until they can understand it.

Higher selves will work together as a team. This means if you consciously work from your higher self then your higher self will, in turn, work in harmony with the higher self of others thus achieving the best result for all concerned.

The Higher self often doesn’t relate to the material world, and though the ‘let go and let God’ is a wonderful process, it is necessary to have a balance of the three selves to live within that belief.

 Middle Self  or Intellect

The middle self is the bridge between the higher self and the smaller self or emotional self. It is our voice of reason. The middle self gets more involved in the processing of information and helps to keep us centered so we are able to reason.

The middle self is great for appealing to when you... Read More

One of the techniques I teach every day to help people become more effective in their lives is the integrating of the three selves.   These “selves” are; emotions, intellect and spirit.  For something to be effective in our lives and for us to grow and flourish from it each of these aspects must have a piece in it.   Our intellect tries to protect us by ruling the material world and tries to create stability as far as finances, shelter, food and security.  The emotional self only values things if they are fun.  In order to feel safe the emotional self needs to feel it can identify with something; that they are understood or accepted by others  and hence not feel alone and the spiritual aspect is driven by us always trying to become more and seek out that makes up truly happy without it being completely defined by our intellect or our emotions.

Often when we go and hear someone speak and they get us gunned up and we come out feeling like we can change the world for the next couple of days, and then suddenly reality sets in and it falls away and seems like it almost never happened,  is a perfect example when each of the selves is not equally involved in a decision in our lives.  The speaker appealed primarily to your emotional self.  Their objective normally is to get us so inspired that we over ride the reasoning that the intellect might be wanting to throw at us: the voice of reason,   then you leave go back to your life and then the intellect will start to “shoot down” all the dreams by making it clear that this won’t work because it doesn’t make “cents.”  It is impractical.  It is not safe.

This happens all the time with all of us.  The outfit we had to have that we never wear or returned.  The job we hate but we stay in because  it pays the bills.  The person we love but can’t stand any more.

I would like to wish each one of my callers, past present and future, a very happy New Year. I wish you the very highest and best for the New Year. I treasure each one of you. I consider medium and psychic readings sacred work and it is a privilege to be able to read for you. A few months ago I started the weekly practice of lighting a candle and blessing each caller, those in the past, those in the present and those in the future. I will continue this practice in 2011, and would like you to know, that you are included in this ritual whether you had a reading with me ten years ago or last week. My wish for you for the New Year is that the very deepest desires and wishes of your heart will be granted.

A psychic/medium reading is truly a joint collaboration. The psychic is listening to both the caller and to her guides and angels and must be careful to hear both accurately. The job of the caller is not a passive one, as the caller must be careful to hear what the psychic is actually saying. If the caller is not open to listening and considering what is being said, then there is no way the reading will work. You will get a better reading if you think about what you what to know before you make the call. Before I get a reading, I sit down and make a list of questions to which I want answers. I highly recommend this practice to you.

One frequent question callers have asked me is how I work. Before I get on the phone, I make certain I am grounded and centered. You deserve the most accurate and best reading available, and that is what I deliver to my callers. I make certain I am in a frame of mind that I give you my complete and undivided attention. Compassionate and nonjudgmental listening is a requirement in this line of work. To prepare for a session of taking calls, I pray and meditate, light a candle, thank my guides and angels in advance. I also think of my late... Read More

WORDS TO THE WISE for JANUARY 2011!
Welcome to the New Year 2011. The month of January is about changing the way we see ourselves. About not being fixed in our views.  “This is who I am and I can’t change!”  That view is selfish, it limits you and by limiting yourself you limit others “experience” of you.  You hold them back as much as you hold back yourself.  January is about you finding the courage to change. Let your New Year’s resolution be to become more pliable.  If not for yourself, for those around you.  In the past it was thought that we need to be strong for others and strong meant inflexible:  to be the rock.  Well, newsflash:  rocks change a little every day.  They are transformed by their environment: they are shaped by what surrounds them.  They were “make-up” was created in such a way as to be able to ‘shift”, and so were you.  No human was born to remain frozen in time: in our thoughts, our beliefs, our physical bodies or our environment.  But change takes courage. It takes faith. But in order for us to not only survive, but to truly flourish we must change: we must evolve and what better time to begin than the first month of a brand new year.

This week contains a high point of spiritual power well worth noting. It’s a doubly whammy of an interesting sort, composed of the near simultaneous occurrence of Full Moon and the Capricorn Solstice. The exact Full Moon moment takes place at 5:13 am EST on Tuesday, December 21, and then is followed closely by the Capricorn Solstice at 6:39 pm EST the same day. As regular readers of this advisory know, any Pull Moon brings with it revelation and insight. This one will surely do that, but with added depth, for only a few hours later, the Capricorn Solstice will bring its power to bear as well, opening the gates of consciousness to higher dimensions. Destiny is likely to speak this day to each person in her or his own place, in some fashion unique to the individual situation. Meaningful guidance will be available for the price of having an open mind.

Monday
. The week starts off with disruptions in both the local and world environments, as retrograde Mercury makes an exact square to Uranus on Monday night. The general effect of retro Mercury suffices to make for departures front the norm all on its own, but when also interacting by 90 degree arc with Uranus and all the surprises and divergences for which that archetype is known, anything goes. And that’s the problem. Usual constraints and customary ways of doing things will be cast aside this day in favor of anything that suddenly looks more appealing, modern, interesting, or faster of accomplishment. Rush and hurry are sure to be major culprits this day, so for those who want to avoid undue annoyance, taking it one step at a time will surely help. All the same, the general environment will be pervaded with changes in routine and even sudden reversals of belief or attitude. Religious doctrines are likely to be a serious matter of contention, for retrograde Mercury will be in philosophical Sagittarius and Uranus... Read More

The other day as I was getting gas, I saw on the news where a homeless man found $3000 and turned it in. The homeless person stated that he started to keep it but decided to turn it in b/c it didn’t belong to him. I wrestled with this for a while b/c I couldn’t understand how a person being homeless (without and in need) could give up so much. Without a doubt, this could have done so much for him. Surely he could have used it.Today as I sit thinking about this, this scripture came to mind- Mark 8:36: For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Now of course $3000 is not the whole world but to a homeless person, $3000 is a lot! But in other words, sometimes what we think is valuable or a lot may really be nothing and what we deem as invaluable and less important, can be worth a whole lot- even priceless. I am encouraged today to know that by this homeless man acts, because he decided to return the money (which belonged to a college student), he gained so much more. Others saw what he did and gave many donations to him. So in the end, he gained more than what he would have if he would have kept the $3000 in the beginning. There is a lesson to be learned in all things and I think the lesson I learned from this is to always guard what matters most. My soul! My relationship with Christ! Every man has his own convictions and it is my prayer that no matter what the situation is, we acknowledge our convictions and choose Christ first! Again, no matter what the situation may be, choose Christ first! Another scripture comes to mind, Matthew 6:21- For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. It all boils down to, choices and convictions!!!

This week starts off with a bang, conditions at work and elsewhere calling for immediate attention and management by expertise. After this, the week continues to be on the hectic side, with a conjunction of Sun and retrograde Mercury intensifying complexities in travel and transportation. Patience may be in short supply this week, but those who can summon it will be as a soothing balm to any situation in which they may be found. Here’s how it unfolds.

Monday promises to be a memorable day in business, weather, national politics, and international relations. Here’s the reason: the power sign Capricorn contains the core of the astrological action this day, with retrograde Mercury, Mars, and Pluto all meeting at the 5th degree of this sign. Capricorn symbolizes all the things of life that endure and which have the quality of permanence, such as great public buildings and monuments made of stone. Capricorn therefore connotes those things, people, and situations which impart a lasting impact on society and humanity by virtue of constant presence.

In fact, the sign of the climbing goat symbolizes the power to gradually surmount obstacles by persistent effort, and to conquer obstacles through steady action and tested methods. Time honored ways also fall under the domain of Capricorn, the home of tradition and heritage. All these issues and more will be activated as the Capricorn archetype receives a huge emphasis this day. Many will feel the inclination to seek the shelter of time-honored tradition, or to align themselves with securely established authority figures. There may be advantage in this, but there may be as well a great sacrifice of liberty exacted from those who want to huddle under the dome of protection provided by a seemingly secure governmental or family shelter. Therefore this week brings situations in which hard choices must be made, for Capricorn is ever a sign of decisions and the deliberation process. These... Read More

After the fireworks of this past weekend, we might like to believe conditions will settle down to normal this week, but not so. In fact, this week hails the beginning of a retrograde Mercury period, which will last from December 10 until December 30. Wacky things can and do take place under retrograde Mercury, including delays, seemingly capricious changes of plans, sudden doubts or misgivings, and general scheduling mayhem. So all this starts to creep into picture this week. And then on top of that, just next Monday retrograde Mercury and Mars will arrive at the same degree of the zodiac with Pluto, bringing great intensification to all issues related to complexities in travel, commerce, and communications. These issues will begin to enter the picture toward the end of this present week and then will carry through next week until the very Full Moon itself on December 21, due to additional factors. In other words, this week marks the onset of a three week period containing substantive challenges. However, these same three weeks contain a few opportunities here and there for those willing to adapt. Let’s see how it works this week.

The Moon is now in the waxing phase, New Moon having occurred at 12:36 pm EST this past Sunday at the 13 degree of Sagittarius. This means that the next month will be conditioned by the Sagittarian urge to broaden horizons and expand potentials. Restlessness and desire for change are sure to be palpable, for Sagittarius is a mutable fire sign and its constantly flickering light will leave a psychic trace upon us until the next New Moon, which will take place in durable Capricorn. For now, however, quick and unexpected turns in the road capture the mind. And with the waxing Moon to power things along, discoveries are apt to be made if we venture out even just a little bit beyond the present known boundaries. These boundaries might be geographic,... This week opens with a rush to action and closes with more of the same. Even though the bulk of the week takes place in the waning lunar phase, there will be a very active pace and an atmosphere of busy engagement. It’s all due to antsy Mars, who this week interacts with both expansive Jupiter and unique Uranus to create big ambitions, impatience with conventional methods, and fast-moving conditions. Further, Uranus throws in its own spice during the weekend, along with condiment comments from Mercury and Pluto. There’s quite enough here to keep the house rocking in a hot pepper sort of way, and then comes the New Moon on Sunday to further amp up the voltage. Anybody tired of a lagging pace over the last few weeks should be more than entertained for this one.

Monday finds us chomping at the bit to charge into action. A feeling of abundant enthusiasm infuses the atmosphere due to Mars and Jupiter. On this day, these two planets arrive at an exact square (or 90 degree relationship) within the circle of the zodiac. This means that from our vantage point on Earth, these two bodies stand at points which would form two corners if inscribed in a circle. This formation is well known to evoke the powers of the planets involved in an outward and vigorous manner. Mars connotes active energy and bold pursuit of objectives. Jupiter stands for expansion of horizons. The combination will bring out the desire in us all to surpass present boundaries and reach for a more challenging experience. Clearly, this can be a healthy impulse if it does not go too far. For many, the problem this day will be just that the invitation to go too far. Hold onto sanity and the early part of this week can bring meaningful progress in career and exercise, as well as... Read More

I am wanting to set a new dynamic for the client who starts out with:  I just want a "general or what's in my future"  reading.

I actually like these readings when I sense that the person truly wants a "general reading," it is when I get asked this and my psychic "bell" goes off saying: they are looking for something specific and want to see if it turns up in the "general/future" reading.

There is one fundamental problem with this line of thinking: well at least for me.  I am not a mind reader I am a psychic.  If I were a mind reader this line of thinking would be fine because the art of mind reading involves "hearing or seeing" what the person's personality or ego deems, important.  Like the person who left them or the job that they may want that they want to know about and want to see it turns up in the "general" reading.

But psychic ability  does not "read" the personality or ego".  Well, I know I don't.  I know I read their higher self or what spirit deems important,  so when I do a general/or what's in my future type reading,  you are going to get what spirit wants to talk about  not what your personality wants to talk about so, needless to say,  if that was not your objective for asking,  then you are going to go away disappointed.

In many cases,  the client will just hang up, convinced I wasn't a "good enough" as a reader to see this  " whatever it is" that is on their mind.

Actually,  I am a very good psychic,  just a lousy mind reader!

I guess a good parallel would be:  you go to a new restaurant and it has a menu of 3 or 4 pages of choices,  but instead of looking at the menu to see what you want,  you don't even open it and instead tell the waiter,  "just bring me something."  When the meal comes, if you are truly... Read More

Adjustment to the new conditions spawned by last week’s developments will be the name of the game for this week. The lunar cycle moves into the waning phase while Mercury sextiles Neptune and squares both Jupiter and Uranus, making for a week in which the effects of past actions are the main concern and the need to adapt takes center stage. Then toward the weekend, the energies of a Mars-Jupiter square enter the picture and bring with it potentials for agitation. The main challenge this week is therefore staying centered and focused, especially during the weekend.

Monday
promises quiet goodness as the Gemini Moon interacts by trine to Saturn in Libra, making this day an opportune period for gathering information. Chaffing up with friendly folks can bring forth useful information and definite confirmation. An atmosphere of calm reigns for most of the day, providing an opportunity to work quietly or interact with others in serene and congenial manners. Around 3 pm EST is the best time this day to approach others for favors and understanding.

After that, watch out. The Moon moves to oppose the existing Mercury-Mars conjunction over night, making the period from Monday evening through early Tuesday morning one fraught with the potential for conflict, disruption, argument, disagreement, and general noise and agitation in the surrounding environment. Weather, too, may be dramatically unsettled over night, thus making for interruptions to sleep. As a result, unhappy campers are likely to pour onto the streets early Tuesday. Take heed and give wide berth. Moods improve by 1 pm EST when the Moon kindly takes a trine to relaxed and even spacey Neptune, but the action isn’t over, for then it squares Uranus just before 2:30 pm EST,... Read More

Progress toward anything desirable has taken place only by fits and starts in the past couple of years. However and at last, the doors are beginning to open toward steady forward movement. This week is a case in point. A number of rather exciting astrological influences enter the picture this week, providing conditions ripe for pleasing developments. It’s going to be a marked contrast to the circumstances and situations characteristic of the period late 2008 through July 2010. Let’s see how it unfolds.

First off, let’s have a look at the condition of the lunar cycle, so important to the status of human affairs. This week, Mother Moon is growing in fullness and power. Therefore all things crank up to a greater speed and vitality. For those of us looking to make things happen for career or romance, the waxing Moon of this week can help move events along toward our goals and objectives. That’s a major point to bear in mind. The Fall Moon will take place at 12:27 pm EST on Sunday, November 21, rendering mid day on Sunday the high point of physical activity, emotional intensity, and spiritual realization for the month.

Beyond the high drama of the Full Moon on Sunday, there arise several other astrological influences throughout the week which will further jazz up the scenario and get matters in gear. Check this.

First of all, feisty Mars and sober Saturn interact harmoniously within the round of the zodiac on Monday. Mars at 13 degrees of Sagittarius will make a 60 degree arc (or sextile) to Saturn at 13 degrees of Libra, bringing to the fore the characteristics of good judgment, cooperative understandings, inspiring collaborations, and generally encouraging developments. On the same day, the Sun... Read More

At times we see no error and other times we fear of our actions to choice.  Most of us are set in pattern in which we feel at times is comfort.  An often times it becomes a habit or a routine.  At that point the passion of choice subsides.  Try looking outside the box.  Allowing choice  to comfort change.  Setting goals small.  Reform new habits from choice that then turn to journeys.  Thank yourself because of you choosing to let go and create change.  All links to finding closure and creating new you!!!!

WORDS TO THE WISE for November

Hold on to your hat for November.  There are going to be some days during this month when you feel you like are doing nothing but either “putting out fires” or “trying stop the leak that could bring down the damn,”  while at the same time  trying to juggle three other things.  What will compound this hectic and somewhat stressful time is the fact that you will feel like you have no help and you just can’t catch a break or your timing is totally off.  Your saving grace is going to be “stick with what you know.”  This isn’t the month to try that new recipe, or wear the new shoes, or take the shorter route to somewhere:  this month has that definite look of a time when “what can go wrong, will,” so make your life easier in November and cut back on the stress by going with what works, even if it is not exactly what you were planning. ... I don't think I suffer from "depression" in its full force form.  I know I definitely can "go down" for the count for a couple of days. Get nothing done, drag around, don't write in my blog, that sort of thing.  What I hate about it,  or perhaps me, is that an influx of money will usually bounce me out of it:  relieve the stress and I can normally get a grip again.   So, is it depression,  not sure, maybe if depression and being totally overwhelmed on how to get situations under control are the same thing.

For me it centered around a house I own that I thought I had leased till next March, then the beginning of June,  the girl  just left.  I decided to sell it,  the realtor was all,  rah rah,  three months later, 2 viewings,  two months behind on its rent,  not so rah rah anymore,  now she's I don't know maybe we should do a short sale.  Ah,  no....

So, I am lucky a great couple from Chicago saw it and rented it just from the photos.  Will they buy,  maybe, maybe not,  but for now, I have my head out of my ass and above water again!!

It is amazing to me,  how quickly as people we can go from way high to way low:  is that normal?  I think for those of us who are more of a creative nature we are more susceptible to mood swings cause we normally leave our selves open, or perhaps with less back up.  Not making those regular deposits into our saving accounts: out running our dogs at agility instead  or buying up on pastels for our art work.

So, all those corny sayings hold true: this too shall pass, light at the end of the tunnel, one foot in front of the other:

Being human is really the high and low of my life: being me is the other part of it:

But I think the best saying that can really help is "know thyself"

of course there's Buckeroo Bonzai:  " no matter where you go,  there you... Read More

WORDS TO THE WISE for OCTOBER

As we move in to October the message is “every thing in its place.”  On a computer, in order to not lose documents you create folders, in your kitchen, so as to know what ingredients there are in the jars you might label them, and this October the message is saying it is time for you to give things a name and a place in your life.

It would seem this is not only in reference things, but also to people in your life.  It is time to stop working in the grey areas and be clear on what purpose and position people, careers, habits, hobbies and anything else you may give your precious time to.

This month is about becoming aware there are things and people in your life that are taking up too much of your time and energy without giving anything... Read More

These Indian summer mornings have been so warm I have grown into the pattern of drinking the morning coffee with the front door open so I can see the sunrise. It’s very beautiful. The new neighbor has gotten into the pattern of stopping by each morning when my door is open and asking if she can draw a Tarot card from one of my decks. I am always happy to oblige, and I am even happier watching her silently decipher what each card means. She never tells me what query is on her mind when she draws the card, and she never tells me what she understands the card to mean.

This week a peculiar thing happened. On Monday the neighbor (whom I shall call Becky) drew the Nine of Wands. On Tuesday she drew the Nine of Wands. On Wednesday we used a different deck and, you guessed it, Becky drew the Nine of Wands.

Looking at the picture on the card we see our beloved heroine/hero on the Nine of Wands has definitely been through tough times. His or her head and arm are bandaged, and they’re leaning on a crutch. This warrior has seen some battles, but they’re still standing! The boxing... Read More

The Fall Equinox occurs Wednesday, Sept. 22 at 11:09 ET.  This is the time to decide what you want to create and set your intentions to do exactly that!  Then, take an action that supports what your vision is.  This lets the universe know that you mean business are are willing to whatever necessary to create what you want.  For example, if you want to get a new job, you could write your intentions or paper or in a journal.  Then take a look at a job posting website in your area of interest.  It gets the proverbial ball rolling in the right direction.  Best wishes!

Okay. Summer’s gone. So is vacation time. Halloween is looming, you need to get away, and you only have the weekend. I have the perfect recipe, the perfect landscape, and the perfect haunt for you and your mate, especially if you’re here in California.

Back in the mid-eighties when I first learned to drive, my pals and I spent our autumn evenings and weekends exploring the California coastline between our hometown of Santa Cruz and the bustled peaks of San Francisco. The object was to catch the most intense sunset, and to delve into the cacophony of haunted beaches along the coast. Most beaches along the stretch of Highway One between Half Moon Bay and Santa Cruz, California, are fierce and isolated and were once notorious for attracting and destroying clipper ships. These majestic beaches define mystical with gnarled Monterey pines and weathered purple sage that leans into the hard wind as if to try and stop it. There is nothing short of postcard beautiful with craggy rock cliffs and foaming combers clearly marking the edge of western civilization. If you stand on the cliffs just right, no one around but you, you’ll clearly hear music-box chimes from times gone by, the wails of lost loves and women who wear black veils.

Wanna bet?
